Temporary Water Sales

Sellers are charged a commission of 2.5% (ex GST) with a minimum commission of $70 (ex GST).  Sellers are eligible for a discount rate of $150 (ex GST) if payment of the Voluntary High Security Levy is received by the due date.If the 2.5% is cheaper this will apply with the $70 minimum

Murrumbidgee Irrigation will charge $8.39 per megalitre for every Megalitre sold off the MI Licence.  This charge will be on the fixed charges to the seller

Buyers are charged a commission based on the following scale with a minimum charge of $70 (ext GST).

Buyers are also liable for the following fees:

Irrigation Company Transfer Fees

Murrumbidgee Irrigation Fee of $75.00 per application.

NSW Transfer fee of $50.00 + $0.50 per megalitre up to a maximum of $150.00 per applicatin.

NSW State Water application fee $5.16 per megalitre for out of valley destination or $3.87 per megalitre for Murrumbidgee transfers.

VIC Transfer fee (LMW and GMW) of $72.60 per application

SA Transfer fee - $212.00 per application

          MIL External Transfer Fee $56.00 per application

Permanent Water Sales

Sellers are charged a commission of 3% (ex GST) on the completed sale with a minimum commission of $500 (ex GST).

Buyers are responsible for payment of water authority transfer fees and stamp duty

Payment to secure your bid can be made in the following way:

Payment preferred by electronic transfer within two working days of invoice.  All payment references must include the Invoice No issued by Murrumbidgee Water Exchange and the name of the payee.  Account details are:
